TORN LOVE
-5-
It was finally the day Santana had been dreaming about for months now. His heart was racing as if it was competing in one of those racecar events and he didn’t even know how to drive those cars. This was the date he had been waiting for since Bella set and it was finally here. This was his day, there day, and NOTHING was going to ruin it. Not even the one small but huge problem that was in the way of his fantasy becoming a reality, and it was in the form of a woman named Lisa.
Boy was she hotter than the desert, steamier than boiling water, and on top of that, drunk. And I’m not talking about drunk in love either; I’m talking about taking a whole Hennessey bottle to the head by yourself drunk. Santana knew Lisa didn't drink, even if you paid her to. So this must have really hit a nerve with her. He’d told her months ago that it was over but she didn’t believe him. He had just come by to give her money for the rent. Normally he would have Seoul bring it but he was M.I.A. so Santana had to finally face his problem. Walking into the apartment that he once shared with her, Santana smelled fire but nothing was burning. He was in hell’s kitchen and a drunken Lisa was the boss. They say you never really know a person until they’re drunk and mad at you; well Santana was about to find out just how mad and drunk Lisa really was.
"That’s it Santana? You’re going to call it quits just like that. Basically saying fuck what we have," Is the first thing Santana hears, followed by the sound of the Hennessey bottle shattering as it is thrown to the wall.
"Look Hershey kisses."
"My name is Lisa."
"Lisa. Like you said, I'm addicted to the street life and I'm tired of dragging you deeper with me."
"No real man makes his main lady feel like she's in competition with some popcorn bitch," Lisa yells.
"Who said you are my main lady?" He honestly asks her.
"Well if I’m not, who is she?"
"Why do you assume it’s a bitch? Why can't I leave ‘cause I'm tired of this relationship?"
"I know it’s a female so who is she?"
"You deserve better Lisa."
"I deserve you."
"You want something I can't give you. And I'm not the type of man to keep you knowing you need to be free. This has been going on long enough."
"Do you love her?"
Instead of replying back to her question, his eyes and the smile that comes across his lips say it all. Walking over towards Lisa, he places a kiss on her forehead before placing a stack of hundreds on the coffee table, and then making his way towards the front door and opening it.
"You take care, Lisa."
"This is not over Santana, not by a long shot. I invested a lot to be with you so don't think for one minute I'm going to let you slip away that easy.
